Welcome to the Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation Coaches Corner!  Here, you'll find everything you need to know about making a positive impact on our youth through the power of sport.  Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the game, your enthusiasm and guidance can create fun, safe, and unforgettable experiences for our young athletes!

Fall Recreational Youth Soccer Volunteer Coach- 2025 Season (Apply Today!)
Kick off a fantastic season!  Our recreational youth soccer program relies on the incredible support of volunteer coaches. Whether you've played for years or are new to the sport, your willingness to lead and inspire is what truly matters.  Help us create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our young soccer stars!

Your Commitment Rewarded: We value your time and effort!  Volunteer coaches who complete the season in good standing will receive a full household credit equivalent to one registered participant at the end of the season. (For example, coaching a Grades 1-2 Division team earns you a one-time $75 household credit.)

Becoming a Rocky Hill Parks & Recreation coach is easy! Just follow these three steps:

Step 1: Complete the Digital Coaching Agreement Online

Tell us about your interest!  Fill out our online "Recreation Sports Coaching Agreement" form through MyRec. (Click Here)
(Note:  Your agreement will be automatically submitted upon completion.)


Step 2: Submit the Human Resources General Authorization/Release Form

Please print and complete the "Town of Rocky Hill Department of Human Resources General Authorization/ Release" form.(Click Here)

Note:  Please submit the completed form directly to the Parks & Recreation Department.)



Step 3: Complete the Mandatory Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

Protecting our participants is our priority. All Town staff and volunteers are required to complete the online Sexual Harassment Prevention Training provided by the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights & Opportunities (CHRO). This is a 2-hour online course. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the training (Click Here).
(Note:  Once completed, please submit a copy of your certificate directly to the Parks & Recreation Department. Your certification is valid for 10 years.  If you've already completed this certification with the department, please follow-up with the appropriate staff via email once recognized as a coach.)
