Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated ball, much like a wiffle ball, over a net.
Pickleball Beginner class: Get your pickleball start or brush up on the basics by taking this 4-week class. Instruction includes: Learning dinking and its importance, serving and returning basics, dropshots, scoring, and playing the game. This class will help you get a firm foundation in pickleball and build confidence to play with people on the courts. All equipment will be provided. Time: 9:00am -10:30am
Pickleball Intermediate class: You already know the basics; now it is time to refine your skills. In this class, we will cover: Dinking refinement to help better navigate your net play and not get attacked, drive refinement so you can use both forehand and backhand, drop shot refinement to help you get to the net easier, block and attack so you can nullify bangers and control the game. This class will help you build on your game and have more control on the courts. Time: 10:30am -12:00pm

Fee: $60 for members and $70 for non members
Location: Elm Ridge Park, Elm Street
Indoor Pickleball is held in the Community Center gym. Nets are provided, but you need to bring your own equipment. A general knowledge of Pickleball is required. Please arrive on time to ensure inclusion in the rotation. Senior Center membership is required and Renew Active members must scan in at front desk before playing.
