Ed Rosado, retired Art Director/Artist/Illustrator, teaches this art series which will cover basic drawing, composition, shading and structure with emphasis on creating forms, shadow and sketching techniques. Students will be given weekly assignments to practice drawing form, and will learn to use static display. All students will receive one on one instruction and critical evaluations of their work during the class period.
Supplies needed for class: 18 x 24" newsprint pad, set of beginners pastels and charcoal, kneaded erasers, paper towels, blue masking tape, scissors or razor blade, charcoal pencils, drawing pad in assorted colors. You can also pay the instructor $18 for the supplies. Please bring your own smock and wipes.
