Join us for some special events offered by the Senior Services Department.  All special events must be paid for at time of registration.

THE COST OF SPECIAL EVENTS IS $12 FOR MEMBERS AND $15 FOR NON MEMBERS, EXCEPT WHERE NOTED. 

*Spring Luncheon
  • Wednesday, April 9 from 12noon-2:00pm
  • Songs for the heart....Music sooths your soul. Soprano Patricia Gray and pianist Bridget de Moura Castro bring you a Spring concert for your enjoyment and consolation
  • Lunch includes Chicken Cordon Bleu, Twice Baked Potato, Asparagus, and Dinner Roll
  • CO-SPONSORED BY HOME HELPERS HOME CARE OF MIDDLETOWN
  • Fee: $12 for members and $15 for non members

*Chinese Celebration
  • Wednesday, April 23 from 12noon-2:00pm
  • The All Connecticut Chinese Chorus will present a show of Chinese dance and vocal music
  • The dance program includes traditional dance, folk dance, as well as dance of ethnic minority groups. The dances will feature whirling fans, elaborate and stylized movements and ethnically diverse costumes
  • The vocal music will include a variety of artistic and folk songs
  • Lunch will feature authentic Chinese food featuring General Tso's Chicken, Beef & Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice and Egg Roll
  • CO-SPONSORED BY MAPLE VIEW HEALTH AND REHABILITATION CENTER
  • Fee: $12 for members and $15 for non members
