Take a journey from the origins of the universe to the wonders of the night sky in this two-part experience combining learning and hands-on exploration.
Begin with an engaging look at cosmology as we explore the birth, evolution, and future of the universe from its earliest moments of extreme heat and density to the formation of stars, galaxies, and everything in between. You’ll gain a new perspective on the universe as a dynamic, ever-changing system.
Then, bring your learning to life with binocular stargazing! Using your own binoculars (or ones provided), you’ll learn how to observe planets, star clusters, galaxies, and nebulas. We’ll also share helpful apps and resources to guide your stargazing beyond the class. Outdoor viewing is included, weather permitting.
By the end of the program, you’ll never look at the night sky the same way again!
