Diabetes factors
Join CCHD's public health nurses for a free 12 week diabetes prevention class modeled after the Center for Disease Control's Prevent T2 program.  In this class you will learn how your diet, exercise and lifestyle habits affect your health and risk of diabetes.  Your weight and hemoglobin A1C level will be collected at points throughout the class to gain an understanding of your progress.

Program is sponsored by the Central Connecticut Health District and is limited to 12 participants.  Program is free and pre-registration is required.  Attend all 12 classes and receive a free gift.

Date:  Friday, March 24-June 6 from 10:30-12noon
