Learn how to prevent, detect and report Medicare fraud, errors and abuse. Representatives from Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP), part of the Agency on Aging of South Central CT (AOASCC), will be here to educate residents on SMP. This federal program administered by the CT State Unit on Aging works in tandem with the CHOICES/SHIP program in your region.
If a Medicare beneficiary, family member or caregiver suspects a Medicare fraud, error or abuse has been committed, SMP will now be the AOASCC to which those concerns and complaints will be forwarded to.
