This is a 60 minute, all levels mat-based yoga class for seniors that will help you calm your mind, strengthen and stretch your body and improve body awareness and balance. This class is for every body, as it incorporates conscious breathing with slow controlled movements and focused stretching. There will be opportunities to modify postures throughout and each class will end with a restorative posture and quiet relaxation.
Kristin has been practicing yoga since 2008 and teaching since 2017 and believes in teaching people, not poses. She loves encouraging and motivating students by bringing light, fun energy into her classes and helping people find joyful movement in their bodies and tranquility in their minds.
Class meets on Mondays:
November 10-December 15 and January 5-February 23 (no class 1/19, 2/16)
4:15-5:15pm
Fee: Free Renew Active members, $36 Senior Center members and $46 for non members
