Functional Fun in the Pool

Functional Fun is a great way for every body (yours included!) to stay active while enjoying the benefits of exercising in the water. This program is especially helpful for individuals who are just beginning a fitness routine, recovering from injuries, or managing arthritis.

Using the natural buoyancy of water, exercises are designed to reduce impact on the joints while improving:

  • Aerobic endurance
  • Muscular strength
  • Flexibility
  • Balance
Participants will enjoy a variety of shallow-water activities including:
  • Gentle water aerobics
  • Dance-based movement
  • Ai-Chi (Tai Chi performed in water)
Classes are held in a safe, supportive environment with great music and plenty of fun.

  • No full immersion required
  • No wet hair required
