Outdoor Adventure Trips:

Riverquest Boat Trip & The CT River Museum:
Wednesday, August 27, 4:45pm-9:30pm
Shorebird Migration and Tree Swallow Murmuration
Enjoy a two-hour cruise and witness hundreds of tree swallows! On board Naturalist(s) will educate you on the tree swallow phenomenon and other wildlife that we will see, such as Bald Eagles and Great Egrets. If the skies allow, we will also view the sunset. All bookings include admission to the museum. Bring a small picnic to enjoy beforehand, on the boat! This trip fills up quickly!
Notes: Must be able to walk independently. Bring your own food and small cooler. Bring binoculars if you have them.
Cost: $60 for members and $65 for non members
Departs from the Senior Center at 4:45pm; returns 9:30pm.

 
Slipaway Tours Sunset Cruise:
Thursday, September 11, 5:15pm-7:00pm
Enjoy a 90-minute, relaxing private charter sunset cruise!
This cruise can offer unique and spectacular views of the sky changing colors that are enhanced by the reflections of the river. You may also see eagles and herons along the way! Bring a cooler of finger-food snacks and beverages of your choice (alcohol allowed).
This trip fills up quickly! Limited to 16 attendees.
Reservations required by September 5, 2025.
Meet at Ferry Park parking lot, Rocky Hill.
Fee per person is $25M/$30NM.
