Work up a sweat with two drumsticks and a big ball!!  Tons of fun and a great cardio workout.  Improves your coordination, sense of rhythm and works your heart at the same time with moves choreographed to favorite tunes.  Cardio Drum Ball is proven to benefit the body, strengthen the heart and lungs, build healthy bones, improve flexibility, and increase muscular strength and endurance.Fee:  $40 members, $48 non-membersInstructor:  Wendy LeClerc

The Senior Center is serving a hot lunch for seniors age 55 years and up from Monday to Friday at 12noon.  Mitchell's Restaurant is the caterer and fresh fruit has been added to the menu through the generosity of West Side Market.  Share your noon time meal with old friends as well as making some new ones.  Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance before 10:00am.  On the third Monday of the month you can sign up for lunch for the following month.  A vegetarian option will be available for those with religious or dietary restrictions with advance notice.  Menus are available in the Senior Center lobby, in the current issue of The Compass newsletter and below.  To register for lunch please call 860-258-2786 or sign up online at registrations.rhparkrec.org.  We cannot accommodate walk ins for lunch.Cost:  $4.00 for Senior Center members; $10.00 for non-members.Our daily senior meal is subsidized by the Town of Rocky Hill and the fees we collect do not cover the expense of the program.  If you are able to contribute more for your own lunch or would like to donate towards a wonderful cause, please feel free to give any amount.  Your generosity is appreciated.

This class is designed for active older adults or those looking for a low impact workout.  It's a dance fitness class that exercises your brain and body.  No dance experience is required.  Required:  Athletic sneakers with a rubber sole.  Recommended:  Dress in comfortable clothes, and bring a water bottle and sweat towel.  Class meets Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30-10:15am in the Exercise/Dance Studio.Instructor:  Karen Chorney
