*Pinochle - *Pinochle PINOCHLE is a bidding, melding and trick playing game using a unique deck of 48 cards consisting of 2 sets of 9-Ace in hearts, diamonds, spades and clubs. PINOCHLE is considered good for memory and focus as it requires players to remember card values, track their hand, and strategize their moves. This actively engages cognitive functions like short-term memory and concentration. A general knowledge of the game is preferred. The first few weeks of the program will serve as a refresher for those who have not played in a while. Date and time: Thursdays from 10:30am-12noonFacilitator: Anne AldenProgram is free and senior membership required.
